KIDS CHURCH PRIORITIES
1.Family Centered We are committed to coming along side you as a parent and helping you by a great foundation for your child's life. We know what a tough job it is to raise kids today, and we will be there to assist you in guiding them on the right path. The training and values your child will receive each week will strengthen their spiritual life and compliment what you are teaching them as a parent. 2. KID FOCUSED We target the every day issues faced in a kid's elementary world. KIDS CHURCH is designed to create an upbeat and fun atmosphere for 5 through 12 years of age. The goal is to establish an environment where learning about faith and character issues can be fun and relevant. God's word must be communicated on a person's age level. We are committed to impacting kids in an age appropriate way. Each service is designed to meet the specific needs of today's kids. We believe that if kids grow up knowing that church is fun and an exciting place to be, it will create a pattern that will continue into adulthood, 3. TRUTH DRIVEN We emphasize a specific truth from God's word each week to help the kids develop faith A truth from God's word is displayed each week and becomes the theme for the entire service, the truth is taught through examples from the Bible, songs videos, object lessons puppets, games and more. An important aspect of our service is that we don't just down load the information on them, but we teach them how to apply that truth to their lives that week at home, school or the ball field, and their neighborhood. We want to make sure the truth is transferred from their heads to their hearts. 4. CREATIVELY WIRED We use innovative and creative tools to communicate a timeless message. One of the most important things we do is create an environment that is relevant. Instead of following tradition we chose an "Under The Sea" theme with an assortment of fish from whales to Nemo. We have Disco lights that the kids love. In our program we have music that is designed to capture the attention of the children and the latest on DVD, CD's and video as we share the timeless message. 5. USER FRIENDLY We have created a non-threatening place for kids to bring their friends. Kids know they can invite other kids to KIDS CHURCH. And be confident they will have a quality experience. KIDS CHURCH is a great place for un-churched children. We strive to keep the style and message of the program non-threatening so we can continue to be effective in reaching a number of children who are not normally interested in church. At times KIDS CHURCH has new children who visit for the first time. We work hard to create great experience throughout every aspect of the service. 6. VOLUNTEER FUELED We involve and connect volunteers who have a heart to minister to children. KIDS CHURCH is definitely a team effort. Your volunteer services make it successful KIDS CHURCH. Parents are invited to participate by helping one or two Sundays a month. With many volunteer options there is something any parent can do to help in KIDS CHURCH. |
