Kids Creating Peace -------- I Pledge to practice saying things that contribute to a kind and peaceful world. I will say something extra-nice to someone who looks sad or lonely. I will compliment someone who does something good. I will not call anyone bad names or make fun of anyone. -------- I Pledge to practice acting extra-kind and peaceful. I will offer help to someone who needs help. I will practice doing extra-nice things for everyone, not just my friends. I will provide help and encouragement to any person having trouble with a task or game or sport. -------- I Pledge to notice when I say or do something that is unkind or mean and say, "I'm sorry." I will not do the same unkind thing again. -------- I Pledge to take action if I see someone bullying or teasing. I will ask my school counselor, teacher, or parent what is the best thing to do. I might be able to teach the mean -acting child how to act nicer. I can say something supportive to the child who was hurt and teach him or her how to speak up to bullies. I will not ignore bulling or unkindness. -------- I Pledge to practice peace, not war or fighting, when I play. I will not play war games or violent video games. I will not play with pretend weapons. I will not pretend to kill someone when I play. -------- I Pledge to practice peace at home. I will not hit or tease my brothers or sisters. I will ask my parents or caretakers if we can please all work together to create a peaceful home where there is no name-calling or hitting, and where love is expressed with caring words and actions.
